Holy Trinity Chapel

Dedicated in 1965, Holy Trinity Chapel reflects the desire of Vatican II for more active participation in the liturgy.  The open floorplan in the shape of a triangle to symbolize the Trinity, the skylight above the altar, and the colorful stained glass windows create a welcoming atmoshphere.  The recent removal of the original gold carpeting and the stripping of the black pews to reveal the natural wood has added to this feeling of openness.  Each weekend, hundreds of students and resident parishioners worship together in this wonderful space.

Stations of the Cross

The stations of the cross and the original crucifix were designed and made by John E. Van Haren, a retired associate professor of Art at Eastern Michigan University and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Student Parish.

Organ

An all-wood, mechanical tracker-action organ hand built by Fritz Noack, a New England organ builder, our organ is one of only a handful of its kind in North America and a rich, musical resource for the university community.

John XXIII Campus Center

Dedicated in the fall of 2007, our campus center is a wonderful space to gather, relax, reflect, and grow in our faith.  It is also available to the university community for receptions and meetings.  Please contact the office for information.

Social Hall and kitchen

Hospitality and the breaking of bread together are important to our faith.  Our social hall and kitchen is used often throughout the year for pancake breakfastes, Agape lunches and Sunday suppers, dances and social gatherings.

Cardinal Newman Lounge and Library

Located in the lower level of the John XXIII Campus Center, this is an excellent space to meet with friends, to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or a home-baked good, to study and relax.  The lounge has a coffee machine to brew a fair trade coffee or tea.  There are comfortable couches, tables and chairs, and a large screen television/DVD player.  The library has computers and printers as well as books and periodicals on a wide range of Catholic topics.  The entire center has free, wireless connection.
